greatest accomplishments

One personal accomplishment was when I started to play lacrosse for AYLC at the age of nine.  My accomplishment started when I got my first lacrosse stick when I was 7 from my uncle chuck.  Two years later I started playing lacrosse at Hudson field in Milton for an organization called Atlantic Youth Lacrosse Club (ALYC).  I still remember my first day of lacrosse practice.  It was like a dream come true.          When I first started lacrosse I was in the U-11 category (which means 11 years and under).  I played defense my first year.  My first year of lacrosse I didn’t have the best of grades.  So, my mother threatened me saying that I couldn’t play if I didn’t get my grades up.  I think I picked up defense very easy.  The next year we didn’t have a goalie, so I volunteered to play goalie.  I played goalie for three years.  I was captain of my team two years in a row.

This year I play defense instead of goalie and I like it a lot.  The reason why I play d pole instead of goalie is because we got our goalie back and, there is no reason to have two goalies at my level.  And we didn’t have enough d poles. The reason why I like defense so much is because I like running a lot.  When I played goalie I very rarely got to run up the field.  Another reason why I like defense is I get to knock the crap out of people and get a pat on the back for It.  But I do like defense for other reason.
